Black out was the theme for this Lautner knife edge pool with perimeter overflow spa. Everything from floor drains to fittings are black, including matte black gutter tile. Three copper scuppers add a beautiful movement to the surface of the water.
Custom stainless steel mounting brackets were used to secure the knife edge coping in place. The surge tank which acts as an overflow basin was placed beneath the driveway of this home. The home was originally built in the late 18th century for a local ships captain. This pool features a shallow lounge with a stainless steel flush mount Tucci umbrella holder for maximum summer shade. The Roman scupper fountains add an old-world aesthetic that provide a calming white noise and a pool that feels alive. |
